Extra Options in Ownima
Fleet Management CRM
Extra options are free or paid services that customers can add to a rental, such as insurance, delivery, accessories, equipment and other additional services. In this guide, you will learn how to create a new option, set its price and make it available for specific vehicles in Ownima CRM.
Note: the app is available in different languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai and Vietnamese. Button names and menu items may differ in different language versions. In this guide for the rental business CRM, the screenshots are taken from the English version of the interface.
Step 1.
Open the “Extra options” section
On the main CRM screen, tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to open the side menu.
In the side menu, select “Extra options”.
A page with all created extra options will open. If you have not added any options yet, the list will be empty.

Step 2.
Create a new option
To add a new service, tap “+ New option” on the “Extra options” page.
A dialog window with a name field will appear.
Enter a short name that customers will see, for example “Insurance”, “Child seat” or “Airport car delivery”.
The maximum option name length is 24 characters.
After entering the name, tap “Apply”.
The system will open the settings page for the new option.

Step 3.
Set up the option details
On the option details page, configure the main settings.
- Description. Enter a short text that explains what this service is for. This field is optional.
- Mandatory option. Enable this switch if the service must be added to every booking automatically.
- Price. Enter the amount in your company currency.
- Calculation type. Select how the option price should be calculated.
- Free option. Enable this switch if the option should be free for the customer.
If “Mandatory option” is enabled, the service is automatically added to the order and the customer cannot remove it. Mandatory options must be free. When this switch is active, the price and free option settings are locked.
For paid options, turn off “Free option”, enter the price and select one of the calculation types:
- “Per reservation” — the customer pays a fixed amount for the entire rental, regardless of the number of days;
- “Per day” — the price is multiplied by the number of rental days.
If the service is free, leave the price as 0 and enable “Free option”.
After filling in the fields, tap “Save for all vehicles”.
The option will be saved, but it will not be automatically added to all existing vehicles. You need to select this option separately for each vehicle where it should be available.

Note: use mandatory options only when the service must always be included in the booking. Customers cannot disable mandatory options during booking.
Step 4.
Edit, copy or delete an option
To edit an existing option, select it from the “Extra options” list.
On the option details page, you can change the name, description, price, calculation type and free option status.
To change the option name, tap the pencil icon next to the name.
After editing the option, tap “Save for all vehicles”.
In the top right corner of the option page, you will also see additional action icons:
- Copy. Creates a duplicate of the option with the same settings. This is useful if you need to create a similar service with small changes.
- Delete. Deletes the option. To confirm deletion, tap “Yes, delete”.
After deletion, the service will disappear from the list and will no longer be available for new bookings.

Note: changing or deleting an option does not affect bookings that have already been created and confirmed. New settings apply only to future bookings.
Step 5.
Assign options to specific vehicles
By default, a newly created option is not applied to all vehicles.
To make an extra option available for a specific vehicle, open the “Fleet” section.
Select the required vehicle and open the “Extras” tab.
The tab will show a list of all existing extra options.
Select the options that should be available for this vehicle, or remove the checkmark from options that should not be available.
After making changes, save the vehicle settings.

Note: options marked as mandatory cannot be disabled by the customer. If a mandatory option is paid, its cost is automatically added to the rental total.
Done
