How to Create and Manage
Price Templates in car rental CRM OWNIMA

To set correct rental rates and easily change prices depending on rental duration and season, Ownima includes a price template system. In this guide, you will learn how to create a separate template, set default daily prices for different rental periods, add special seasonal prices, and quickly adjust all values using a multiplier.

Note: the app is available in different languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai and Vietnamese. Button names may differ in different language versions. In this guide for the rental business CRM, the screenshots are taken from the English version of the interface.

Step 1.

Open the “Price templates” section

On the main CRM screen, tap the three lines in the top left corner to open the side menu.

In the side menu, select “Price templates”.

A list of all created price templates will open. If you have not created any templates yet, the list will be empty.

Step 2.

Create a new template

• To add a new price template, tap the “+” button in the top right corner of the page.
• The “New price template’s name” window will appear.
• Enter a short template name, for example the vehicle type or the purpose of the rate.
• After entering the name, tap “Apply”.
• The name is needed so that you can easily distinguish templates from each other later.

Step 3.

Set default daily prices

After setting the name, the “Set default prices” page will open.

Here you need to set the rental price per day for different rental duration ranges:

• 1 day;
• 2–3 days;
• 4–7 days;
• 8–14 days;
• 15–28 days;
• 29 – ∞ days.

In each row, enter the price in the “$/day” field.

The system uses the currency that you selected when registering your account.

If the price is the same for any rental duration, enter the same value in all fields.

If the price depends on the rental duration, enter different values for each range. Usually, short-term rentals cost more per day, while long-term rentals cost less per day.

After filling in all fields, tap “Create price template”. The template will be saved, and the system will open its details page.

Note: if you notice a pricing mistake, you can correct it later. Prices can be changed separately for each range or in bulk using the multiplier.

Step 4.

Add a season if prices change during specific periods

Seasonal prices are needed if your business has periods of higher or lower demand. For example, prices may change during Christmas and New Year, high season, low season, local holidays, or other periods when demand is different from usual. On the template page, default prices are shown in the “Regular prices” section.

• To create a season, tap “New season”. A date selection calendar will open.
• Select the start date and end date of the period when seasonal prices will apply. After selecting the dates, tap “Confirm”.
• Then enter the season name, for example “High season”, “Low season” or “New Year”. After entering the name, tap “Apply”.
• The season page will open. Here you can set the coefficient that will be used to recalculate the default prices. Use the “–” and “+” buttons to select the required value.

For example, a coefficient of 1.5 means that seasonal prices will be 50% higher than the default prices.

After setting the coefficient, tap “Save”.

A table will appear below, showing how the default prices were recalculated into seasonal prices.

Note: seasons are created for the nearest year, but the same pricing will repeat in the following years. For example, if you create a season from May 1, 2026 to October 1, 2026, the same season will repeat in 2027.

Note: a season period must not overlap with another season. If you need to add several different periods, create each season separately.

Step 5.

Change default prices using the multiplier

If you need to quickly increase or decrease all default prices, use the “Multiply prices” button. It is located at the bottom of the template page.

• After tapping it, the “Edit prices with a multiplier” window will open.
• In this window, select the coefficient using the “–” and “+” buttons.
• The system will show how the prices will change after recalculation.
• Tap “Recalculate prices” to apply the change.
• The multiplier changes the default prices.

If the template already has seasonal prices, they will be recalculated automatically from the new default values.

If you change your mind and do not want to change the prices, tap “Cancel”.

Note: use the multiplier when you need to quickly change all default rates, for example to increase prices by 10% or reduce them for a whole vehicle group.

Step 6.

Check the price table

To check how the system calculates the final rental cost, tap “Price table”.

A table will open where each number of days has a final payment amount and a daily price.

Use this table to check calculations before applying the template to vehicles.

If the price looks incorrect, return to the template and correct the default prices or seasonal coefficient.

Step 7.

Edit, copy or delete a template

Return to the list of price templates. To manage templates, tap the pencil icon in the top right corner.

Select the required template from the list.

In edit mode, you can change the template name, copy the template or delete it.

To rename the template, change the text in the name field and tap “Save & change for all”.

To create a copy of the template, tap the copy icon.

Copying is useful if you do not want to create seasons again, but need to change the default prices.In this case, create a copy of the template, correct the default prices, and the seasons will be created automatically.

Seasonal prices will be recalculated from the new default values.

To delete the template, tap the trash icon.

Then confirm the action with the “Yes, delete” button.

Note: you can delete only a template that is not used by any vehicle. If the template is already selected for a vehicle, you first need to assign another rate to that vehicle.

Step 8.

Select the rate on the vehicle page

A price template is not applied from the “Price templates” list, but from the page of a specific vehicle.

• Open the “Fleet” section.
• Select the required car, motorbike or other vehicle.
• Go to the “Prices” section.
• In this section, select the appropriate price template for the selected vehicle.

After saving, the vehicle will use the selected rate when calculating the rental cost.

The price template has been created and is ready to use

You now have a separate price template with default rates and seasonal coefficients. You can create several templates for different vehicle types, seasons or business models. To change prices later, return to the “Price templates” section and select the required template.

Note: changing a price template does not affect existing bookings. New prices apply only to new orders created after saving.
