How to Launch a Booking
Website for Vehicle Rentals

Booking website is your company’s personal website for vehicle rentals. Customers can use it to check the availability of cars or motorbikes, select rental dates and send a reservation request.

Note: the screenshots in this guide are shown in English. The interface is available in the following languages: Russian, English, Thai, Portuguese, Spanish, Indonesian and Vietnamese.

Step 1.

Check your company profile

Before publishing the booking website, make sure your company profile is filled in correctly.

This information is shown on the booking website and is used by customers to contact you.

To check your profile:

1. Open the side menu.
2. Tap “View profile”.
3. Tap “Edit profile data”.
4. Check and fill in all required fields marked with “*”.

Pay attention to the following details:

• “Rent service name”. This is the name of your rental service that will be shown on the website.
• Company logo. We recommend uploading a square image of at least 250×250 pixels.
• Working hours. These hours help customers understand when your rental office is open.
• Owner or responsible person name. Enter the first and last name of the owner or manager.
• Phone number. This number will be used for customer contact.
• Office location. Fill in the country, region, city, district and office address.
• Map point. Set the exact location point on the map.

After checking the profile details, tap “Save and continue”.

Step 2.

Set up your website address

In the “Website URL” block, tap “Edit”.

Enter the desired website address, also called a slug. This is the part of the link that comes after booking.ownima.com/.

Website address requirements:

• length from 3 to 16 characters;
• only Latin letters and numbers are allowed.

After entering the address, tap “Check availability”.

If the address is available, confirm your choice by tapping “Change address”.

If the address is already taken, choose another option and check it again.

Step 3.

Publish the booking website

To launch the booking website, tap “Launch booking website”.

After publishing, tap “Copy” to copy the link for customers.

The website address will have this format:

booking.ownima.com/YOUR_ADDRESS

The website is now ready to use.

Place the link on Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, Yandex Maps and other platforms where customers can find your company and open the vehicle availability search. To copy the link quickly, tap “Copy”.

 

Note: you can change the website address at any time. If you change it, remember to update the link on all platforms where it has already been published.

Step 4.

Connect the booking widget if you already have a website

This step is optional.

If you already have a website or landing page, you can embed the Ownima booking widget into it. With this widget, customers can search for available vehicles directly on your website.

To get the widget code:

1. Tap “Embed booking widget”.
2. Select “Get embedding code”.
3. Choose the widget language, for example Russian, English, ไทย or another available language.
4. Copy the generated iframe code using the “Copy code” button.
5. Paste the code into the required place on your website.

The widget source is a page on the booking.ownima.com/widget.html domain.

The owner_id parameter is added automatically with your company identifier, and the lang parameter is added according to the selected widget language.

If you use HTML or JavaScript:

1. Copy the embed code.
2. Open the HTML file of your website.
3. Paste the iframe code into the required place on the page.
4. Save the changes.

For other platforms, use the relevant tab in the “Instructions” window.

Done

The booking website has been published

Customers can now open your website using a link in this format:

booking.ownima.com/YOUR_ADDRESS

On the website, the customer selects the “Pick up” and “Return” dates. After that, the system shows vehicles from your fleet that are available for the selected dates.

If the customer sends a reservation request, it will appear in your CRM.

If you have installed the widget on your own website, the search results will open in a new window.
